Fort York - Graf Yorck Kaserne- Soest

Once Home to: The Royal Canadian Regiment

Fort York was handed over to a German bündeswehr missile battalion (Flugabwehrraketengruppe 21) in August 1970, but only changed its name to Graf Yorck Kaserne in 1973.

Today it is being used by a civilian company who has placed security cameras all around the camp,

the layout of the camp has not changed, all the original buildings are still in place and well kept.

I am currently awaiting for permission to gain access to the camp and document it, as i was refused entry at the gate.
